E-Learning in Music Education (Research Project)
Dr. Tem has been working with SEBIT LLC, a leading company in the field of E-Learning, for over 20 years. SEBIT’s core project, Adaptive Curriculum has been at the forefront of interactive math and science learning, providing solutions that are informed by the latest research, pedagogy, and best practices. Since 2007, nationally known leaders at Arizona State University and ASU’s Technology Based Learning and Research (TBLR) Center have partnered with Adaptive Curriculum on curriculum alignment, classroom implementation, and professional development. TBLR is SEBIT’s neighbor in the ASU SkySong Innovation Center.
Dr.Tem is currently researching Near Future Music Education by implementing his experience in Adaptive Curriculum. This technology based education project is focused on bringing the joy of learning to the classroom by following the new generation’s self-organized learning abilities. This includes “edutainment” and “gamification” which is powered with blended learning, flipped learning, and interactive special education with biofeedback features. Both classroom activity and distant learning are the main platforms of this research. The outcomes will help the development of new content that will be used by students and educators (individually or collaboratively) with computers, tablets, smart boards or by the use of internet and social media.
